Tuesday Project Roundup: Stroller Set

A former co-worker at the old agency (where I had the best girlfriends; oh, how we don’t know what we have until we switch jobs…) is expecting a baby girl this September. So I decided to do a little more than a hat (see: best work girlfriends) and sew a little stroller blanket to go with it.

I started with that insane pink yarn and wasn’t sure what fruit it was going to be, but once I found this Technicolor apple print flannel, it all came together:

The hat pattern is the trusty Ann Norling Fruit Cap I’ve made over and over, and the stroller blanket was just like these I made two years ago–but with even bigger rick-rack and brighter colors. Apparently, I don’t get more subtle as I get older.
