The last piece of clothing I made was the yoga cardigan in November, and the last piece of clothing I made to wear in public was the long Liberty dress last July. So it feels good to be back making (wearable) things:
The fit is a little off on the dress form since I still haven’t made the form match me (this involves shaving off foam) but I’m pretty happy with the finished project. I used a yellow pique I’ve had sitting around for a few years and wasn’t too attached to in case it didn’t turn out.
Plus, using the fabric that I had inspired me to go through and use up a few more pieces that are sitting around–free projects!
