I might be there, too, if 1.) I hadn’t already driven to Lehi and Orem in the last week and 2.) it was the full-force ensemble. You can hear the Mendelssohn Octet most summers at the PC Music Festival, although not played by British dudes.

Don’t forget- tomrorow at Weber State is The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, one of the giants of chamber music ensembles (is that a pun?). And they’re doing the Mendelssohn Octet, one of my personal favorites. I’d be there myself if I didn’t already have a rehearsal to attend.
