The birthday party was a big success. I made a trifle and my friend made a fantastic cake topper for it. Or rather, a trifle topper.
The home improvements went well, too (pending some more art for pictures of those). IKEA wins again with these $9.99 red frames.
And I got out on a longer hike, to the top of one of the peaks behind Red Butte. I don’t go there often because there aren’t any big trees, but there was a nice view over into Emigration Canyon.
And instead of trees, this mountain top had prickly pears.
