The camels hair coat is floating around like the UnFinished Object it is, keeping me from moving on to spring sewing. If I ever get it done I have plans to sew what I think the Fashun people are calling a “topper,” or a lightweight, longer collarless blazer to wear with a t-shirt and jeans to work. Like so:

There are some designer versions in incredible prints (this one, this one) so I’ve been looking for bright colors and crazy patterns to use. Because as much as I like the camels hair coat and as much as I will wear it and love it once it’s done….it’s beige.
