I guess it’s safe to assume that if I’m absent from the blog for a few days, we are dealing with POOP. It was Doc again this time, back to the hospital via the ER from crazy gut pain that came out of nowhere.
His poor colon has another micro perforation from the diverticulitis (like last July) but the IV antibiotics and liquid diet seem to be getting him healed up.
He’d already scheduled surgery for early June to remove the offending piece of his colon; I was worried that that was a really major surgery when he seemed to be doing fine…but I guess this stint in Poop Jail has at least convinced me that yeah, he’s not actually fine.
