As you might know, I bought myself a car. As of yesterday, Doc’s car is in the shop for both a repair and, while they have the engine pulled, some scheduled maintenance. Last night I was joking that we could skip presents and have a “Little House on the Prairie Christmas,” where we all just get a penny and some peppermint candy (and then go for a drive).
And Doc came back with, “I thought I was getting you hair combs and you were getting me a watch chain.”
