When I adopted Toby, I found him through CAWS. I was really impressed with their follow-through during the process of looking, and I even got an email about two weeks after he’d been home making sure we were all happy. Over the weekend, I got another email that his foster mom had wanted me to have, which had his baby pictures in it. Baby Toby!

Dude…I’m not going to comment publicly on having to give three months notice–but let the fact that I started my sentence with “dude” tell you my reaction.

That is so stinking cute. Little foster mom who sent baby photos… of a cat. 🙂 Hey, I wanted to give you an update sometime, but can’t find your email address. (I’m lame) anyway, if you read this, then know that my last day here at the BOX is 100 days from when I gave them notice, which is now 71 days from now, which is the same as August 27th I think. There’s an update for ya long lost wordsmith pal.
