Look who came to my house on Sunday to celebrate his grandma’s birthday! This was the first time I’d hosted a family event in the new place.
“Reading” the card he “signed.”
Other notable weekend events: Going to Brooks Brothers and attending my first Greek Easter celebration. There was drinking. There was dancing. There was an entire lamb on a spit, head and all. (At the Greek Easter celebration, that is; not at Brooks Brothers.)
OMG! That is funny!
I don’t think they killed it themselves. But it was freshly killed and intact. They used the guts to make sausages.
Boy did I have a good time saying, “Oh, no thank you, I’m a 13-year vegetarian.”
I don’t think a sheep can contract “mad cow” disease. I believe it’s scabies in sheep. Nevertheless, disgusting! Was the critter a fresh kill of the day? Or was it purchased already deceased?
I guess nobody eats the brain anymore because of mad cow disease. But apparently you can eat the eyeballs. Thankfully I did not see that.
Cleavers were everywhere!
I KNEW IT!!! Did anyone actually eat the head? Was there a cleaver chase scene to start things off?
